In 2025, we initiated a partnership with Colegio Sister Johanna while partnering with Fundación Ewo Colombia, which provides high-quality education and values-based training for young women with opportunities to develop their potential, access better opportunities for their future, and break the cycle of poverty.
We first implemented the virtual STEM-robotics program, CoderZ. During the winter/spring 2025, andn then held a successful in-person, two-week training program with the school’s teachers, followed by working with a group of 30 girls. The school is now poised to create a sustainable STEM-robotics program for its girls.

That “All may have life and to the full” is a quote from the Gospel of John that embodies the charism of the founders of Marymount Schools and Colegio Sister Johanna (CSJ): RSHM, the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. We would like to thank The Community Bots for making STEM-robotics a possibility for our girls at CSJ. The facilitators’ enthusiasm, commitment, creativity, and overall warmth stood out in each interaction with our students, staff, and teachers. They truly infused a love of learning.
The contribution that The Community Bots has made to the CSJ community is exponential; we know that this is just the start. Exposing our young girls to what is possible for them in STEM areas is the start of a future that will open up many paths for them. The scope of the training that was provided empowered not only teachers but also the students to strengthen their growth mindset and to believe in what they are capable of. The Community Bots allows us to dream big, and we are excited about the following steps to come as we work on making the STEM-robotics program sustainable. We envision that CSJ students can positively impact other women and girls to learn about STEM; we are committed to paying it forward.
Thank you, Community Bots, for your invaluable contribution to the CSJ community. Thank you for believing in our girls and in a better future for them
